With Arclinea’s 100-year anniversary coming to a close, we’d be remiss not to mention 1988, the year the Antonio Citterio-designed Italia went to market, marking the start of his collaboration with Arclinea.
It’s also a perfect time, as the holidays approach, to highlight the kitchen’s important role in family entertaining.

Right from its debut, Italia embraced the aesthetics and technical solutions typical of professional kitchens, bringing their functions and typical methods into the home, meeting the growing demand for a residential CHEF KITCHEN.
The characteristic handle, the prevailing use of steel, deeper worktops fitted with double sinks, suspended hoods, and the iconic double-island layout… they’re all part of the Italia persona.
