The first of Arclinea’s Kitchen Workflows series features the iconic Italia kitchen, first presented in 1988, marking the start of collaboration with Antonio Citterio.

Italia embraces the aesthetics and technical solutions typical of professional kitchens, bringing their functionality into the home. Each element is methodically arranged to optimize movement and flow, to better manage the various stages of food preparation.

Just like in a restaurant, those who cook have quick access to ingredients and equipment, without overlapping those engaged in other functions. The workflow features the “working triangle” – cooking, washing, and preserving – promoting teamwork.

The cold area layout is intended for refrigeration and conservation of ingredients, while the thermal one, the core of the kitchen, is ideally positioned in the center of the space.
