A FULL SHOWROOM RENOVATION
Take a Tour of Arclinea New York
Since 2012, the address 21 East 26th Street in Manhattan has served as a global landing point for Arclinea kitchens. Behind the classic facade of this Georgian-style building overlooking Madison Square Park, in the NOMAD Design District, we proudly present the newly renovated Arclinea New York showroom.
Arclinea New York is a continuous linear space extending the entire block’s length, articulated into a succession of eight new environments – showcasing the Arclinea Kitchen Collection designed and curated by Antonio Citterio.
CONVIVIUM
At the entrance, an alcove of lush vegetation echoes the park outside, setting the stage for the first kitchen vignette.
This space showcases the handle-free Convivium kitchen in matt white lacquer, with Carrara marble worktop and expansive backsplash, with integrated moveable natural oak and ceramic accessories, highlighted by a horizontal Arclinea Shelf Hood in brushed stainless steel.
CONVIVIUM / PRINCIPIA
Next, anchoring the showroom sits the iconic Convivium kitchen island with its signature 20cm thick countertop, represented here in polished Calacatta marble.
The functional island with integrated Era table in fumè oak complements the bronze PVD steel base unit doors and sophisticated stone work. The Arclinea Convivium hood in bronze PVD with glass canopy and integrated LED illumination floats above the workspace.
Complementing the island, the tall elevation is an example of the Principia door, featuring a wood slat design, and further enhancing the elegance of the composition in fumè oak.
The tall elevation housing the majority of the appliances features Modus folding doors and the bronze framed MAC unit (Mini Appliance Center).
THEA
Continuing our tour we discover Thea, another minimalistic and handle-free kitchen.
The tall elevation in grigio fenix highlights the Thea island in Jupiter quartzotech, with structured waterfall sides and illuminated tapered Canto Snack Bar in beveled black PVD steel.
ITALIA
The following space is dedicated to Italia, Arclinea’s very first model inspired by the use of stainless steel doors in professional-grade kitchens: a restaurant kitchen for the home.
Realized in vintage stainless steel, this island with 6mm structured worktop, paperstone accessories, and welded sink is a showpiece. Complemented by grey oak accents, the polished Collemandina marble at the workstation completes the palette.
LIGNUM ET LAPIS
Form sets the stage for the theatrical Lignum et Lapis kitchen (Lignum et Lapis means wood and stone), where function and socializing meet. A dream kitchen for entertaining.
The pure and sophisticated quality of the cantilevered monolithic island, showcased here in Pluto black quartz, is softened by the large black ash staved wall tall units, with new New Pocket integrated doors.
Glass display cabinets in Trama fumè finish add further texture, complemented by matt black backsplash accessories.
THEA – DOUBLE ISLAND
The final space of the showroom is once again dedicated to Thea, shown in a spectacular double island configuration in vertical natural oak and Sughero quartzotech, with bronze Canto snack bar, hood, and floating shelves.
The tall elevation is interrupted by Vina elements for wine storage and glass cabinetry, in a symmetrical, elegant format.
Thea concludes a succession of eight contemporary and transitional interpretations of kitchen spaces, designed by Arclinea. This creates an unobstructed visual pathway from the lush Madison Square Park on 26th Street through to 27th Street.
